Maggie Blaylock, co-owner and counselor at Known Counseling Services

Maggie Blaylock (LPC-MH, CSAT, CMAT) is a therapist who has a heart for seeing what is broken be restored. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist (CSAT) and EMDR Trained. Maggie currently resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Among other things, Maggie specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families treat:

  • Anxiety and/or Depression

  • Sexual Addiction and Other Compulsive Behaviors

  • Couples with Relationship Issues

  • Adolescent/Young Adult Issues

Maggie’s counseling career began at Avera Behavioral Health (Sioux Falls, SD) where she completed an internship as a unit therapist and moved on to become an assessment counselor. Following that, she was a critical member of the team at Sioux Falls Psychological Services for several years before launching Known Counseling Services. She specializes in sexual addiction treatment, addictive pornography use as well as trauma caused in a relationship due to the betrayal of unwanted sexual behavior. She is a leader in the region in helping individuals, couples, and families who have been wounded by sexual addiction. She offers research based treatment with understanding and compassion to help people in recovery find true intimacy in their lives so that they can be KNOWN and learn to rebuild their relationships.

Nate Blaylock, co-owner and certified coach at Known Counseling Services

Nate Blaylock (M.A. Ed, CLC) is a certified life coach and recovery coach who is passionate about helping people move from here to there. He has deep experience in helping others rebuild what may seem broken into something with purpose and beauty. Nate currently resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Among other things, Nate specializes in helping individuals and couples:

Nate has been a natural coach his whole life, and has extensive experience and a wide variety of industries - both personally and professionally. Nate’s eclectic background includes coaching, sports, sales, education, and leadership within a Fortune 100 company.

Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott (MDIV, PSAP) is a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional and recovery coach who helps men experience freedom from problematic sexual behavior. With 20 years of experience in spiritual formation and local church ministry, he’s worked with leaders to help them pursue wholehearted living.

Matthew currently resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Matthew works with men in the areas of:

  • Addiction (sexual, substance, internet, love, etc)

  • Creating and implementing personalized recovery plans

Taylor Krall-Rysdon, counselor intern at Known Counseling Services

Taylor Krall-Rysdon

Taylor Krall-Rysdon is a counselor intern who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, self-worth, ADHD, and other concerns that can leave people feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Taylor takes a holistic approach to counseling and is especially interested in the connection between mental, emotional, relational, and physical health. Before entering the counseling field, she studied sports and exercise and worked in personal training. That experience strengthened her belief that our physical and emotional well-being are deeply connected and helped shape her desire to work with people more fully.

In counseling, Taylor strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, work through what's keeping them stuck, and move toward greater health and healing. She values the therapeutic relationship and believes meaningful change involves caring for the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms.

Taylor lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
